The 健康 和 人类服务 Department at Black Hawk College offers a variety of health career programs as well as career 和 transfer options in education 和 criminal justice.
健康和人类服务职业
Students enrolled in 健康 和 人类服务 programs 和 courses go on to many different careers:

They go on to work in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, physicians’ offices, or community agencies. These programs can also provide the foundation for further education in this large 和 exciting field.

Many programs have internships that allow 和 encourage you to get involved in the community 和 experience immediate h和s-on application of what you are learning in the classroom. In addition, BHC has state-of-the-art facilities that offer h和s-on learning in specialized fields.

Career 和 Transfer Program Information
If you plan to go right into the workforce after graduation, you can earn a certificate or Associate in Applied Science degree by enrolling in one of the career programs offered through the department. If you plan to transfer to a four-year institution, you can earn an 文科副学士 or 理学副学士 degree.
